Featuring beloved Winonan Eric Brisson, this concert brings together the beautiful organ at Wesley United Methodist Church, paired with the WSO in two baroque works by Bach and Handel. These are paired with contemporary composer Ellen Taaffe Zwilich’s homage to Handel written in honor of his 300th anniversary in 1985. The evening is capped off by Haydn’s brilliant and playful symphony dedicated to Oxford, written to commemorate his receiving of an honorary doctorate from the university.
